Brenda M. Michelson
I’m a technologist, problem-solver and writer (words, pictures, code).
What’s going on here?
I’m exploring non-traditional ways to make technology knowledge and participation more inclusive.
I’m also intrigued by, and experimenting at, the intersection of code, art, data, systems and nature.
These strands, in my view, connect via visual narrative, integrative thinking, and digital acuity.
I’ve been in the information technology field for 30 years, working with (and within) enterprises applying technology to optimize operations, spur innovation, solve problems and connect with customers.
I started as a programmer, progressed through the systems analysis and technical ranks, rising to a chief architect position.
For the last dozen years, I’ve been a self-employed consultant and technology advisor.
Rather than a single technology or process specific practice, I work with clients as they tackle difficult problems, start new programs, or transform business and technology capability.
Essentially, I help people understand, think through, and address technology matters.
tl;dr – writings are not advice, use my work fairly, with attribution; privacy is respected, 3rd party services in use with own policies; no pay for play.
